The Premiership DVD Collection 2008
The Premiership DVD Collection was a chance to own every second of every action-packed Rangers or Celtic SPL game of the 2008/2009 season on DVD.
The Rangers box set was introduced by Mark Hateley and the Celtic box set by Murdo MacLeod.
Working with Cathy Beck and Boulevard Entertainment in London, Lyn McNicolPR hosted a press launch and photocall at Hampden stadium with Mark and Murdo and a huge armchair courtesy of Feather & Black.
Lyn McNicolPR liaised with the venue, catering, Rangers and Celtic PR, sourced the props and sent out press launch invites to relevant journalists.
The press turnout was phenomenal, and with a little help from photographer Alan Peebles the next day's press covered it widely, as did the STV teatime news.
The client was happy.
The press were happy.
The presentation consisted of an introduction by the MD of Boulevard, a big-screen viewing of DVDs, Q&A with Murdo and Mark, then the photocall itself.
Cuttings and pix included The Herald, Rangers TV, Celtic View, Rangers News, Daily Record, The Scotsman, The Scottish Sun, The Scottish Daily Mail, The Scottish Daily Mirror, The Scottish Daily Express, STV, and follow-up competitions appeared in The Sunday Times, The Scottish Sunday Express, Rangers News, Celtic View, Talksport, Four Four Two and Frank The Monkey in Ireland, amongst many others.
